    EVENT OUTLINE

    Any participant who signs up will be automatically accepted into the event
    (NOTE: there are only 80 slots)    The AUs are split into three categories, Real World, Fantasy, and Other Media

    • Real World indicates AUs that can realistically exist in modern times

    • Fantasy indicates AUs that have some magical or non-real element

    • Other Media indicates AUs that are a mashup with another piece of published media

    Upon sign-ups, participants will be asked to choose one of three AU categories. They will also be asked to list at least five (Other Media) or seven (Real World & Fantasy) AUs of their choice under that category.From that list, contributors will be randomly assigned to one specific AU.Participants will be asked to create one piece of Kuroken fic/art that embodies the AU they were assigned to.This piece will be published to the website on Kuroken Day (May 1st 2022)

    RULES & GUIDELINES

    • All participants must be 13+ at time of sign-ups

    • If you sign-up, it is expected that you will see the event through to completion

    • Participants must join the event-affiliated Discord server, as this will be the main form of communication throughout the event

    • All works created must be SFW

    • Participants must fill in the check-in when it is provided

    • If you wish to post a WIP or preview of your work for this event, please be sure to tag the event account. Participants are allowed to post WIPs as long as it is under 50% completion and showing only a quarter of your total work.

    • Treat other participants and the moderator team with kindness and respect when communicating

    • Ensure the created piece fits the AU that was assigned, or speak to a moderator if there is any issues with this

    • Failure to follow any of the event rules will result in a warning or being kicked from the event at the moderators discretion

    • Fully rendered pieces with full backgrounds are expected

    • All works must be SFW Kuroken centric

    • Works are to follow the provided tempate

    • Works are to be 1000 words minimum and 3000 words maximum

    Are we allowed to use our old AUs?

    • Yes, as long as the piece is new.

    What is the timezone this project is using?

    • UTC+11

    For how long will the website be up?

    • The website will be up for a month and will close on June 1, 2022. After which, all contributors are free to post their own pieces in their accounts if they wish to do so.

    How will the contributors be compesated after the website is closed?

    • We will send all contributors a free pdf version of the website after the website closes.

    Can contributors post WIPs?

    • Yes, for as long as it is under 50% completion and showing only a quarter of your total work.
